Say what you will about the man; his music most definitely left an everlasting impression upon the world. Some rather ignorant fucks choose to think of his death as a mere "good riddance;" and those who do think so have never experienced the awesomeness that is Michael Jackson. Pretty much close to all of his songs contain some sort of message, especially in "Man in the Mirror" and "Black or White."

(It's kinda fitting that there is no sun out today; at least, not in my area.)

My prayers go to the Jackson family and everyone else who is affected by this, especially one of my oldest friends; MJ was like a real inspiration to him, and it hurts him deeply that his hero is gone. Which I totally understand.

Normally people don't comment on my journal, but I know there's a lot of spite for MJ, so just in case: those who don't care/have nothing nice to say, please keep your comments to yourself. There is a time and a place for your opinion, and quite frankly, this isn't it. Let people mourn/remember however they want to. It's their choice.

Ugh. So much shit has been happening this week, man.
